@steevc just finished a 11.44km run, that lasted for 69 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 846.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
We were away for the weekend helping out a friend, so I missed parkrun and did not do my usual Sunday run. Today is a bank holiday, so I could have a little lie-in and then run. It was about 8am before I got out. After some warm days it has turned cool again and so I went for an extra layer.

I did a variant of my loop around the villages. Before I went out my back was feeling very stiff, so I did a few stretches, but it was not so bad once I got going. I prefer it cooler, so it was not too bad. There were a few drops of rain, but not enough to get me wet.

On my way around Fairfield I saw some people twice as they did laps the other way. There was a fairly young lad out running on his own. I also saw the dog with wheels.

I took the long way around Stotfold. They have had 'temporary' fencing along the road there for years. Maybe it is to deter kids from going towards the bypass. Coming back into Arlesey I passed the big new development. They have a sales office, but no houses seem to be completed yet.

I ran into a parkrun friend who did the Hitchin 10k yesterday. I really ought to enter more local events as there are plenty. I just need to feel that I am over some of my injuries so that I can have a chance of better times.

Later we went to a garden centre to join the masses. We bought a load of new plants including some veg. I will do a Hive post on garden progress soon. If you are not on Hive then I can set up an account for you.

Nice job on your run. I didn't want to exercise this morning after all the work I did this weekend, but I got myself up and did it anyway! I have a feeling I will be hurting tonight!

Running 11 km on a holiday must be pretty tough takes determination just to get up and go out on a day to rest 😅 , most of us are just lying around watching TV or doing something else, I always find it really hard to go running when my routine is disrupted by something unexpected or something like that. The cool weather helps a lot because when it's hot I sweat a lot and it's quite uncomfortable for me to run like that and I can't concentrate 🙃

Running is a great way to stay fit, clear your mind, and boost your mood with just a daily habit. Diets rich in lean meats, eggs, nuts, leafy greens, and healthy fats like olive oil can help boost testosterone levels. A diet with lean meats, nuts, and healthy fats boosts testosterone, while oral testosterone treatment can further enhance hormone levels. Oral testosterone treatment is used to manage low testosterone levels.
