I've been doing this particular exercise as one of my usuals, and when I'm not at the gym I do closed grip pushups to do the same thing this exercise does, and what is that thing? To build my triceps and inner chest.

I've been doing it for years and it has been working wonders, but just sometime this year, as I'm now a huge consumer of bodybuilding content, I cane across a video by my most respected exercise scientist Dr. Mike Israetel and he said this exercise is controversial, that it is clear whether it builds the inner chest like people say it does or not.

I was gobsmacked. Lol! And I was so happy to have inside knowledge about it as a guy who has been doing it for years. Of course it builds the inner chest, goddamnit! I've seen the results myself.
