Deadlifts are my favourite exercises, my fucking God! They feel so great. They are supposed to work all the muscles in your posterior chain (from your neck to your calves), but mostly your glutes, hamstrings and lower back.
There are a lot of muscles involved in this so that's why it feels so great, because the activation is more widespread. To enjoy this workout more, though, you need to be someone who has worked out to extent you now enjoy working out, because your first few times would be filled with you going through the painful processes of working out and that doesn't feel as great.
To become someone who now enjoys working out doesn't take much, though, a month or two or working out would turn you into that.
Very few exercises make you feel like a man or make you feel strong and buoyant like deadlifts. Hop on!
