Before and after starting TRT with Hone Health
My Transformation ⤵️
When I turned 30 years old last year I decided it was finally time to test my hormone levels for the very first time in my life. Back then I was struggling to get good rest and was underweight.
I began to do some research online and eventually discovered Hone Health.
I was able to have a blood test kit sent directly to my doorstep so that I could mail in a blood sample. The process was a breeze and in a short amount of time, I received my results.
I wasn’t surprised to find out that my testosterone levels were very low. My total testosterone levels were at 400 and my free testosterone was only 6.
I finally had a valid explanation for why I had been struggling to gain weight or increase my strength in the gym like I had been trying to do for months. I was around 135lbs at the time and was struggling with basic weight lifting exercises in the gym.
Thankfully I was able to schedule a quick consultation with a virtual doctor through Hone. It was then that I was able to discuss treatment options with my doctor and we determined our next step. Instead of jumping straight into testosterone injections, we agreed to begin with a Clompihene prescription.
My prescription began to arrive in the mail monthly. I never once have had to step into a doctor's office or pharmacy during this process.
A few months after my first consult, I was already beginning to notice major differences in my body. I was gradually beginning to gain some good weight and my strength levels were seeing noticeable increases. I also began to sleep like a rock and have been able to get a solid 7-8 hours nightly on a consistent basis.
By the time month 6 rolled around, I had jumped up to 190lbs and tripled my strength. I went from barely being able to bench 30lb dumbbells to being able to rep 90lb dumbbells. All of my major exercises such as Squat/Deadlift/Bench saw similar increases.
As of my most recent blood test, my testosterone levels are around 1,100 and my free testosterone is sitting at 21.
I often have people telling me that I look like I work a lot. This is something totally new for somebody like me who has been the skinny kid all of his life. I almost can’t believe it, but the numbers don’t lie.
I have had 4 or 5 consultations now and some adjustments have been made to my treatment. I have since added anastrozole into the mix, along with the continued use of clomiphene, so that we can keep my estrogen levels under control.
One thing that has remained true during the past year and a half of working with Hone is the fact that I look and feel stronger than I ever have in my life.
My confidence is through the roof and I never struggle to stay motivated to hit the gym or accomplish any of my goals.
Hone has made a world of difference for me. I am proud to say that I went from being a scrawny guy with low confidence to an absolute beast with no fear of defeat.

Well done mate! I think we should start a sport or the gym after a certain age.
I agree, we should be required to maintain some level of fitness. Get fat and lazy is not what should be normal.
Also, dangerious for health.
Quite a story man. Good for you.
Literally feels like I evolved from stage 1 to stage 2. Hopefully can hit stage 3 in the next two years.
Cottage cheese is the key.:)
But yeah, youre definitely doing well. Stage 3 soon.
Not even kidding.. I've literally never tried cottage cheese in my entire life. There was a kid in my elementary school who used to put way too much cottage cheese on everything single thing he ate at lunch time. It always grossed me out and I haven't tried it since seeing that.
You think thats bad.. 😂
I eat almost a kilogram a day. 22 grams of protein per serving. Less than 100 calories.
Less than 5g of fat. Can go under 3g if you want it to taste worse. :D
You need to get on Cottage cheese. lol
I should probably give it a try finally. Surely it's not as bad as I imagine.
Its really not. If youre training its much better than boiled eggs.
I drink raw eggs daily. If I can do that ya boy can handle some damn cottage cheese 😆
Haha. I dont think thats a good idea. You get too much fat from eggs and you risk illness when you dont boil them. Food poisoning, Salmonella and shit.
Im telling you. Cottage cheese is king.
200g serving of cottage cheese is equal to 2 eggs. Id need to eat 30 eggs a day to meet my protein intake needs. And you get about as much fat with that. Its too much hassle and its not good for you.
I’ve been doing it for 3 or 4 years now. Even eaten aged eggs raw, well over a year old. No issues whatsoever outside of maybe too much fat like you say. It’s actually a pretty common practice, especially in the body building world. Same with women’s breast milk, dudes be paying out the ass for that stuff. But no I haven’t tried that as an adult 🍼
I’m buying some cottage cheese next time I’m at the store and will try, you have my word.
lol
A person has to do something to get to the ideal state of their body, and you have done the right thing for yourself. I'm sure you are in your best physical condition for now.
If you hadn't made this post, I would have never known that your body was ever so thin.
Some time ago, you told me that you had a bad time when you played too many games late at night and were sleep deprived. Did that bad condition make your weight worse at that time?
I am feeling my best now, but I think I can improve even more still. We should all strive to become better each day.
The times of me working graveyard shift and staying awake past sunrise were partial to blame back. I was also just not eating much food and being very lazy outside of work at the time. Can't blame it on gaming because I still play every night.
Everyone has had the worst times in their life, and some don't have the means to get back up and get better.
Your experience should be used as an example by someone out there that everyone should be better day by day throughout their lives.
I hope you always get better.
I think we all stand a chance against our low points. It's up to us to rise.
I thought you were lifting man. Great work getting back in shape. How do I lower my testosterone to lose some weight!?
Yeah about 5 mornings a week usually. It's not overkill with 7 days a week or multiple times a day.
& just eat lots of soy... but really, don't do that and just eat less and get active in some way.
We all should be health conscious like you especially after a certain age. But it's nice to know you didn't go to the pharmacy or the medicine. Good luck to you.
Being health conscious with my fitness and hormones is the only way that I can continue to eat anything I want. Otherwise I’d be getting out of shape quickly I’m sure.
The transformation is crazy!!
Oh my God!
Keep it up
Don't stop!
It really is. Thank you so much. No stopping now.
It's really nice that you improved with the help of health online. Your improvement is really inspiring. That's a good step that you consulted proper health officials. Wishing you bundle of good luck and congratulations for this shape. Celebrate your each day.
It was a combination of many things, but I'm happy it's all continuing to work out for me.
We got jojo all of a sudden 🦾🧔

But I educated you
The change is remarkable, looking healthy and stronger.
Thanks bro!
That's quite awesome👌
I would like try out this process or maybe another one. I'm that skinny type too and I have recently been looking out for meals and exercises I can do to gain weight.
How old are you? And do you want to have any kids? It more kids if you already have some?
Reason I ask is because getting on some testosterone therapy can work wonders if you’re 30-40 and beyond. I wouldn’t recommend it any earlier than that though. I’m not even on it yet, just taking something that naturally boosts my test levels and it works really well for that actually.
If you’re still younger, the best advice I can give is EAT A LOT and try to eat as clean in the process. Then consistently do some sort of strength training 3-5 days a week. You can definitely gain if you put in the effort (and money bc food and gym memberships aren’t free sadly).
I'm 31 and yeah, I intend to have kids.
What are those things?
Clomiphene
I would love to get some natural remedies like food and fresh drinks. I am ready to spend money and take exercises. Which would you recommend?
Look up horny goat weed hahaha
Your personality has changed a lot man.
Idk if my personality has changed much bc of this, but my body definitely has. If anything I'd say I'm just overall a more confident person, so I guess that does affect my personality a bit.
Woah!!! I never knew you were so skinny before!
Hone seems great!
Yeah it wasn't a good look. I'm glad to be improving rather finally.
good commercial! :P j/k
great work! u definitely leveled up!! 💪😎🤙
I'm about to be in their commercial, along with some other members. That's what inspired me to make this post. I had already recorded the video for them to use in ads & I figured might as well make the most of my completed content.
oh cool! 😎😉 now u will expand ur fame!! :P
We will see. I’m just happy they liked it enough to use it in their marketing. Getting paid to make a video that I thought was fun is a huge bonus too.
When a person is getting older, he should exercise more, it keeps his health much better.
Without a doubt my friend
Thanks.
Daaaang man when I saw your before and after photo you really have a good body shape now bro. 💪💯👊 good for you, I'm just doing little stretching now, even my 29 year old back crying like a 50 year old back hahaha being an artist it's hard for us or just me to do the good posture. Anyways kudos and good for you bro 💯👊
After playing sports in my childhood, I got very lazy for several years. The thing that got me considering fitness again was yoga. I became obsessed with correcting my horrible posture and over time developed new habits. Eventually, I worked my way into the gym and now it's a second home. I think stretching is essential no matter what age, so don't stop that.
I'd recommend practicing handstands against a wall. This will decompress your back and also build really strong shoulders and just overall increase the blood flow in your body. You could do something similar but slightly less effective with an inversion table.
Just saying this bro, you give me motivation or inspire me to try these out. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻💯👊

Thanks bro! I'll go and watch it right now, I really need to discipline myself doing these stuffs. Again thanks for sharing info Daltono 💪👊
No problem. Just wanted to make sure you had something to go off of. I'd search "Wall Handstand" on YouTube and watch a bunch of shorts so you can find someone to teach you how to practice very easily. That was just the first video I saw. I like getting many different perspectives when possible though.
Wow the transformation is amazing bro!
Glad to see a healthier and more confident you 😊
Much love to you. I'm pleased with the results and it keeps me motivated to not give up on this process.
Yeah seeing the results definitely keeps one motivated!
I'm starting on an intermittent fasting program myself and hoping to stick to it for at least a quarter! 😁
Most motivating and authentic body transformation I’ve seen. ❤👌 most inspiring, informative, hopeful article.
Sick beard bro! I just got one question, those treatments are like, for life? Or eventually you won't need the meds? Personally I am not skinny but I feel like I have lacked testosterone my whole life. Even my libido is quite low.
Thanks man. Good question. I’ve never stopped taking Clomid since starting, but they say your levels go back closer to what they were before. That may or may not be the case for me, I will find out at some point I’m sure.
It’s also a mental game. You have to constantly remind yourself to eat, we are almost always hungry even if we ignore it. Then libido can be affected by your thoughts too. Once you control your mind you’ll have better control of what your body does.
How old are you? Depending on your age and life path, it may be better to just jump on testosterone injections or cream instead of Clomid like I’m taking. Test shots/cream will take away your ability to have kids, but it’s much more powerful and reliable. Clomid doesn’t work perfect for everyone, I’m just lucky it works well for me.
I am glad that worked for you. It's very frustrating to deal with stuff that doesn't seem to have explanation or even cure no matter how hard you seek! And hey, must be really satisfying to watch those results.
Well, I have no issue in the baby department because I am not planning on having any. Perhaps I could provide myself a similar experience by excercising the psychologist profession; raising the children of others! Haha.
I am 35 years old. So here's the thing, I suspect is a testosterone thing because when I do high intensity training, like anaerobic excercise like push ups until failure I notice an incredible boost in mood and also libido. I also deal with depression and that's a serotonine thing which I self medicate with excercise too... which also includes testosterone!
So, I might as well give it a test in the near future.
Just know that if you get on testosterone injections ever you can kiss baby making goodbye for good. It's nearly impossible to get it going again once you've been using test. That's why I feel terrible for teens and early 20 year olds who get on test when they start going to the gym for the first time and don't realize how big of a commitment it actually is.
Just do what's best for you man. I think the first step would be to have bloodwork done and determine your hormone levels, then you can figure out your options.
That's quite a remarkable difference. Nice work mate!
That's a big difference... now here is the real question: Do you FEEL better in a general sense as well?
Oh hell yes. I'm always happy and have plenty of energy.
