Back To Basics
It's been a long time since I last took a two-week break from the gym. Next month marks my fourth year since I started hitting the gym, and even though I'm not super muscular, I sure enjoy going there consistently.
I'm already one and a half weeks into my stay in Austria, but today was my first day back at the gym. I found a nice one a few days ago, paid for the subscription, and yesterday I finally got to train after a two-week pause.
The monthly subscription costs 70 euros, but I snagged a discount. Not sure if it’s their policy for newcomers or I just got lucky, but I paid 60 euros for the month.
The price is double what I was paying in Romania, but I’m cool with it. I’m just stoked to be training again, and the gym is only about a kilometer from my place. I can literally walk there.
When I first started going to the gym, I had a five-day-a-week plan. For about a year now, I’ve cut it down to four days a week, and I’m totally fine with that.I work out every muscle group across those four days. For example, yesterday I hit chest and triceps, and today I smashed back and biceps. I’m literally feeling muscle soreness in every group I’ve worked so far.
Tomorrow, I’ll be training shoulders, and I might hit legs on Saturday. I’ll have to see about that… I’m not 100% sure yet.I haven’t started work yet, but I’m hoping I’ll have enough energy to keep hitting the gym once I do. We’ll see what I get and how physically demanding the job is.
Fingers crossed...Anyway, this is a short post—not much else to say from my side. Hope everyone’s having a great day, and I’ll catch up with you next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
And I must say you are doing well already. Consistency and determination is very important. I wish I can build some muscles again
Go to the gym.
Hahahaha. Ok. After you
Excellent article. For the past year, I've also been particularly interested in improving my fitness. From what I've read, I can sense a strong passion and healthy discipline towards training. I believe that despite the changes in your country and lifestyle, you manage to maintain a balance, thanks in part to sport. !PIZZA
Training has helped a lot over the past few years.
Hell yeah Ace, i been getting some mild/moderate workouts for a while. Feel like i need to step it up a bit though. I like the sore feeling sometimes. Get those shoulders ripped lol
For sure.
