Active recovery 3 days to go | cent power up day

Just three more days until the NN Marathon Rotterdam 2025. While I am very excited I feel the nerves are under control. I am confident but focussed.

I feel I can stick to my plan and trust the process. While I would like to run more , or run at a stronger pace - I realize that won’t provide any benefit 3 days before the race! Thus, sticking to plan!

The plan today was an active recovery of 5km with a average heartbeat of max 140.

The run was very relaxed and my heartbeat stayed low (average 126 BPM) so that made a good recovery run. My other goal for today is to increase the focus on carbo loading. While I already started a little it is time to increase the carbs on my menu (both in % aswell as in grams), the idea is to store extra fuel so (In theory) you won’t “bonk” around 32-34 km.



Tomorrow will be fun! Probably have to work on my nerves a little then. I won’t be running, but have a full resting day ahead. Also I can pick up the starting numbers and will be at the presco where the international elites that participate will be presented.

yeah mostly pasta with some protein (grilled chicken / some fish)

Great, just 3 days away, tomorrow it's time to relax completely, stay hydrated, and eat plenty of carbs and protein. All I have to say is: stick to your plan, and from now on, let yourself go and enjoy. Success in the competition, I trust you 💪🏻, big hug 🥰🤗
