It was a lot of fun to force her unto this shit. My mum is in her early 60s, and you know all about that generation of African mums, they mostly don't care for social media or a lot of modern entertainment, and they also think a lot of stuff is a waste of money, so telling her she was going to get on a ride like this that offered nothing except entertainment was such an uphill task.

But we succeeded.

She kept her cool once she resigned to it and she didn't scream or make any reactions no matter what she saw on the VR glasses.

At the end of everything we asked her if it wasn't fun and relaxing, she said it was nothing, she didn't enjoy it and she would have preferred we did other things with the money. The biggest blow was when she said she closed her eyes during most parts rather than shouting or reacting because she couldnt take what she was seeing 😂😂.

That was such a blow, I swear. No wonder she was able to keep her cool that much. The only consolation was that she couldn't do anything about the seat that was moving her in different angles, so even if she didn't get the entertainment from the view she got to experience being moved around by the seat.

But then again this is all just a case of us forcing what we consider entertaining on a non-user of that sort of entertainment. No matter how entertaining we consider it the fact remains it was nothing to her and wasted on her. I just concluded the whole discussion by telling her that we wanted her to experience it to see if she likes it, and that now she's gone in there for the first time and come out saying she doesn't like it we'll never make her do anything related to this again.
