Trying Different Kinds of Finger Foods from the Night Market: Milky Cheesy Donut, Cheese Balls, Cheesy Tuna Pie, and Sweet and Sour Cucumber Juice

When there's a Festival, for sure, there's also a night market with different food stalls in it. Although we can't try all the foods but there are some that really caught our attention. And I just discovered that my favorite cafe that sells grilled burger and on the side with pastries and cakes, HappyScoop was also in there. I remember last 2023 and 2024, I bought different kind of Cake in a cup in there for a really cheap price (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ. And it taste so good that I am looking forward for it every Fiesta. Unfortunately I didn't saw them here last year, so I am glad that they decided to open their stall in there.

So, this happened last January 27, I'm with Mama as usual. While waiting for the program to start, we decided to have a walk in the night market specifically at the food court. They are all line up in there, very close to each other. I saw a lot of food stalls there that sell the same thing like the tusok-tusok, it's just up to you who you'll buy your snacks. I just had them days before that so I am searching for something new that we could enjoy while waiting.

There's also this stalls on the other side, this is where you can find a lot of stalls for drinks, coffee, fruit juice or milk tea. There'e more Tusok-Tusok stalls here than the other side, but with the people visiting those stalls I am sure they can sell a lot of their foods.

While on this side, the stalls here looks more special and new. You can see a stall here that sells sugarcane juice, as it they will squeeze the juices of the sugarcane in front of you. There's also those that sells grilled burger, hungarian sausage sandwich, a cake, and more. I enjoy this side more actually

After checking all the stalls, yep, we checked all of them, lol. We chose happyscoop for Our first stalls. Sadly, they don't have those cakes that we bought before. They only have milky donut, special cinnamon rolls, ensaymada, pork floss, and yema cake. That cake is bigger and I think one is too small for me. One cost 95 pesos. Although it looks yummy, but my wallet can't really afford it especially its not just me who'll eat them.

So we chose the cheapest but good one. Good thing they have it! We got the soft milky donut, this one's really super good. We got two of this. I didn't buy more coz we're planning to buy on the second stall

There it is, its called Paninda Series, they shares about their foods on FB which we saw and that's why we got so interested in it. They sell different kind of snacks, like musubi, cheese balls, tuna pie, chicken pie, ham and cheese pie, they also have grilled burger, and some others that I don't know the name. Ah, that tofu squares too actually. I am not that interested on this one although they gone viral, same with Musubi.

Now, here's the foods we got.

First, milky cheesy donut from happyscoop. We love the milk on top of it. It is not sweet and the cheese really balance it all. Mama can't help herself from saying how she loves the milky topping on top. It's texture is like a chalk, very crumbly. I just think this will taste more delicious if the cheese inside is a bit melted? Anyhow, we really enjoy it.

Next is the cheese balls and tuna pie. Seriously, the Cheese balls is too salty for us we didn't enjoy it that much. I could't even finish one balls. On the other hand, we enjoy the cheesey tuna pie even though we barely see any tuna in it. Lol. Still its cheesy so it's still good. And you know, they are 15 pesos each only so cheap, this is the amount that I can say, really affordable for a poorita like meyyy, lolol

Now, if we have foods to chew, we also need drinks to wash em all down no? I saw this cucumber juice while looking around on the other side so we checked there and got it. Its good actually but it's sour. Really not a good choice after eating salty foods. We should've just get Gulaman Juice. I could't finish this 10 peso cup, everytime I drank it, my throat itch. I had to give it to mama. She also feel the same way but she still drink a little. She throw half of it though.

And so, that's how we enjoyed the night while waiting for the main event last January 17. To be honest I enjoy this food hunt rather than the singing contest, haha. I enjoy that too but not as much as I enjoyed the foods (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ. Food iz layf yk! Lololol
