Almuerzo express / Express lunch

Hola amigos. Gracias a Dios mi esposo y yo a veces tenemos días de trabajo tan agitados y productivos, que para ahorrar tiempo y poder seguir atendiendo nuestras tareas sin retrasarnos necesitamos comer en la calle, no es algo que nos suceda a menudo porque tratamos de organizarnos de la mejor manera para evitar esto. Sin embargo, cuando hay un día más agitado de lo normal que nos agarra por sorpresa lo hacemos sin pensarlo porque sabemos que esos minutos que podemos ahorrarnos en cocinar nos ayudan a ser más productivos y lograr mejor nuestros objetivos del día.

Hello friends. Thank goodness my husband and I sometimes have such hectic and productive work days that, in order to save time and be able to continue attending to our tasks without falling behind, we have to eat out. It's not something that happens to us often because we try to organize ourselves as best we can to avoid this. However, when a more hectic day than usual catches us by surprise, we do it without thinking about it because we know that those few minutes we can save on cooking help us be more productive and better achieve our daily goals.

Hace unos días tuvimos uno de esos días más agitados de lo normal, yo salí de consulta a las 12 del medio día en punto y me tocaba atender otro paciente a la 1 30 pm, mientras mi esposo estaba armando presupuestos que eran necesarios tener listos antes de las 2 pm. En vista del poco tiempo con el que contábamos para poder ir a casa, hacer almuerzo, comer, volver a cambiarnos (porque no me gusta cocinar con ropa de trabajo) y volver a salir, decidimos buscar algún sitio donde pudiéramos comer con las tres B (Bueno, Bonito y Barato) y que mejor para eso que la comida árabe.

A few days ago we had one of those busier-than-usual days. I left my appointment at 12 noon sharp and was scheduled to see another patient at 1:30 p.m., while my husband was preparing budgets that needed to be ready by 2 p.m. Given the limited time we had to go home, make lunch, eat, change again (because I don't like cooking in work clothes), and go out again, we decided to look for a place where we could eat with the three B's (Good, Nice, and Cheap), and what better way to do that than Arabic food.

Le dimos la oportunidad a un sitio pequeñito que ya habíamos visto con anterioridad cercano a nuestros lugares de trabajo, pero que no habíamos probado antes. Es un sitio donde venden no solo comida árabe, sino también almuerzos ejecutivos, que la verdad nos sorprendieron bastante.

We gave a chance to a small place we'd seen before near our workplaces, but hadn't tried before. It's a place that sells not only Arabic food but also executive lunches, which really surprised us.

Nosotros llegamos pensando en los shawarmas que era lo que llevábamos en mente y lo que pensábamos que era lo único que vendían, ya que es lo que se observa desde afuera, más bien al entrar fue que vimos el resto de las opciones de almuerzos que ofrecen allí y la verdad a precios bien accesibles para quienes necesiten resolver rápidamente.

We arrived thinking about shawarmas, which was what we had in mind and what we thought was the only thing they sold, since that's what you see from the outside. It was when we entered that we saw the rest of the lunch options they offer there, and the truth is, at very affordable prices for those who need to get something done quickly.

El lugar nos pareció bastante agradable y digno, yo valoro muchísimo la limpieza del lugar en sí y los alrededores donde decida ir a comer, más que su precio. La comida es algo muy delicado de manipular y desde el sitio más sencillo hasta el más lujoso para mí es de vital importancia que sea un sitio por lo menos limpio y que cumpla con los estándares básicos de higiene y bioseguridad. Este sitio a pesar de ser pequeño y sencillo es así, bastante limpio y ordenado.

We found the place quite pleasant and decent. I value the cleanliness of the place itself and the surroundings of any dining experience more than its price. Food is a very delicate subject to handle, and from the simplest to the most luxurious, it's vitally important to me that it be at least clean and meet basic hygiene and biosafety standards. This place, despite being small and simple, is just that, quite clean and tidy.

Nos trajeron el menú y a pesar de no tener en el los precios establecidos, la chica nos mencionó los diversos combos con los que contaban y luego notamos que en la puerta del lugar tenían unos anuncios también con los precios de los combos.

They brought us the menu and despite not having the established prices on it, the girl mentioned the various combos they had and then we noticed that at the door of the place they also had some signs with the prices of the combos.

Como era la primera vez que visitabamos este sitio y el olor de la comida era agradable, decidimos pedir un shawarma y un plato mixto árabe para compartir y así probar esas dos cosas del lugar. Nuestra comida la acompañamos con un jugo de mora para mi y otro de parchita para mi esposo que estaban bien refrescantes.

Since it was our first time here and the aroma of the food was pleasant, we decided to order a shawarma and a mixed Arabic platter to share, giving us a taste of both. We washed our meal down with a blackberry juice for me and a passion fruit juice for my husband, which were both very refreshing.

Quedamos bastante satisfechos con la atención y la comida del sitio, por supuesto no es la comida árabe más refinada que hemos comido pero para el precio, la rapidez y su sabor nosotros le damos un 7/10 y creo que volveríamos a ir estando en las mismas circunstancias.

We were quite satisfied with the service and food at the place. Of course, it's not the most refined Arabic food we've ever eaten, but for the price, speed, and flavor, we give it a 7/10, and I think we would go again under the same circumstances.

El plato árabe me gustó mucho más que el shawarma y de visitarlos nuevamente lo volvería a pedir sin duda. Gracias, gracias, gracias siempre por compartir, votar y comentar amigos. Hasta la próxima ☺️😁❤️
