One of the strategies I used the most in the Noxious Fumes rule was with the Gelatinous Cube and I was surprised that it is still a great strategy for this rule today.

This strategy is very simple and treacherous at the same time, I believe that some of you must have already realized what the strategy is as soon as you saw the Gelatinous Cube monster and it will be even better if you also put the Revealer monster behind it, but let's start from the beginning and explain what is happening in this battle.

There are 2 rules in this battle and they are Noxious Fumes and Even Stevens.

• The Noxious Fumes rule will cause all monsters in the battle to be poisoned and they will suffer 2 damage at the beginning of each round starting from the second round.

• The Even Stevens rule will allow the player to only use cards with an even mana cost.

These are two very annoying rules because they end up limiting the monsters you can use, since the Even Stevens rule will reduce your monster choices by half on average and the Noxious Fumes rule will prevent you from choosing any monsters with low health. You can even choose them, but it won't be the best strategy for this rule.

Now that we know the rules, let's move on to my strategy.

My strategy is very simple and revolves around two monsters, the Gelatinous Cube and the Revealer. If you don't know the Gelatinous Cube monster, I'll give you a quick explanation about it.

The Gelatinous Cube is a reward card from the Alpha/Beta edition that costs 6 mana, it is quite old and has 3 abilities: Scavenger, Heal and Void.

• Scavenger - This ability causes the monster that possesses it to gain +1 life whenever a monster is defeated in battle.

• Heal - This ability causes the monster that possesses it to regenerate 1/3 of its maximum life 1x per round.

• Void - This ability causes the monster that possesses it to receive only half the damage against magical attacks.

The Gelatinous Cube is a good card, but there are many strategies that can make it useless, and the main one is when your opponent has a monster with the Affliction ability, since it will be able to cut off the Gelatinous Cube's healing.

Luckily, I didn't encounter any monsters with the Affliction ability in this battle, and my strategy is simply to have Gelatinous gain more life with the Scavenger ability and heal itself from enemy attacks and the damage caused by the Noxious Fumes rule.

In the battle, my opponent also has a monster with the Heal ability, which is why I put the Revealer monster in the battle, because it won't take damage from the Noxious Fumes rule, since it has the Immunity ability, and its main function will be to apply Stun to my opponent's Cursed Windeku monster, so it won't be able to heal itself and will be slowly defeated by the damage from the Revealer monster and the damage from the Noxious Fumes rule.

Another reason I like this strategy is that it's really fun to watch.

Uma das estratégias que mais utilizava antigamente na regra Noxious Fumes era com o Gelatinous Cube e fiquei surpreso que atualmente ela ainda é uma ótima estratégia para essa regra.

Essa estratégia é bem simples e traiçoeira ao mesmo tempo, acredito que alguns já devem ter percebido qual é a estratégia assim que viu o monstro Gelatinous Cube e ela vai ficar ainda melhor se você também botar o monstro Revealer atrás dele, mas vamos começar do inicio e explicar o que esta acontecendo nessa batalha.

Existem 2 regras nessa batalha e elas são a Noxious Fumes e Even Stevens.

• A regra Noxious Fumes vai fazer com que todos os monstros na batalha sejam envenenados e eles irão sofrer 2 de dano no inicio de cada round a partir do segundo round.

• A regra Even Stevens vai fazer com que o jogador seja capaz de usar apenas cartas com custo de mana par.

Essas são 2 regras bem chatas porque acaba limitando bastante os monstros que você pode utilizar já que na regra Even Stevens vai diminuir a escolha dos seus monstros em média pela metade e a regra Noxious Fumes vai fazer com que você não escolha nenhum monstro com pouca vida, você pode até escolher mas não será a melhor estratégia para essa regra.

Agora que conhecemos as regras vamos para a minha estratégia.

Minha estratégia é bem simples e ela gira em torno de 2 monstros que são o Gelatinous Cube e o Revealer. Se você não conhece o monstro Gelatinous Cube então irei dar uma rápida explicação sobre ele.

O Gelatinous Cube é uma carta de recompensa da edição Alpha/Beta que custa 6 de mana, ele é bem antigo e possui 3 habilidades que são a Scavenger, Heal e Void.

• Scavenger - Essa habilidade faz com que o monstro que a possua ganhe +1 de vida sempre que um monstro for derrotado na batalha.

• Heal - Essa habilidade faz com que o monstro que a possua regenere 1/3 da sua vida máxima 1x por round.

• Void - Essa habilidade faz com que o monstro que a possua receba apenas metade do dano contra ataque mágicos.

O Gelatinous Cube é uma boa carta mas existem muitas estratégias que podem tornar ele em uma carta inútil e a principal é quando seu adversário possui um monstro com a habilidade Affliction já que ele será capaz de cortar a cura do Gelatinous Cube.

Por sorte eu não encontrei nenhum monstro com a habilidade Affliction nessa batalha e minha estratégia se resume a simplesmente o Gelatinous ganhar mais vida com a habilidade Scavenger e se curar dos ataques inimigos e do dano causado pela regra Noxious Fumes.

Na batalha meu adversário também possui um monstro com a habilidade Heal e é por isso que botei o monstro Revealer na batalha porque ele não vai sofrer dano da regra Noxious Fumes já que possui a habilidade Immunity e a sua principal função será aplicar Stun no monstro Cursed Windeku do meu adversário, assim ele não será capaz de se curar e será derrotado aos poucos pelo dano do monstro Revealer e pelo dano da regra Noxious Fumes.

Outro motivo de eu gostar dessa estratégia é que ela é muito divertida de se assistir.
