Time For The Legs To Do The Talking
What are my Saturdays without playing football? absolutely incomplete. Yeah right! Saturday mornings for me is for playing football with the boys. This is an activity I always look forward to all week . This physical activity keeps my body and active so I try not to miss it one bit.
Usually I hit the football field after completing my routine physical fitness exercises. They include push-ups, sit-ups and lifting of my dumbbells. The pitch from my house is a 5-10 minutes drive . To get myself ready for the intense incoming football actions I jog round the pitch for some minutes. I do this before team selections are made .
Talking about team selections, teams are usually selected at random using a ballot system. It is usually a 5-aside set gameplay with 10 minutes interval . Today I happen to find myself in team B which means I'll get to play the first set . I did enjoy playing with my teammates last week , I hope it is the same turn of events today as well . I had two goals to my name last week so I hope I continue on that amazing run of form.
Overall, I'm sure it will be a satisfying morning of football, filled with much thrills, teamwork, and a healthy dose of competition. As I reflect on the day's games, I'm reminded once again of the joy and fulfillment that playing sports brings to my life.
