Creative-Sunday- Ese baba -Praise/WorshipMedley (cover)
Hello everyone, and welcome to another joyous Creative Sunday here at Hive Learners. My name is treasuree and each week I strive to share creative gifts showcasing my passion for music. Today, I am blessed to present a soul-stirring medley of praise tunes newly performed at my church, titled “Ese Baba.” I sing this song with gratitude and hope it uplifts your spirit too.
Stepping onto the altar this morning surrounded by our church community filled me with immeasurable comfort after a difficult week. And opening my lungs to sing “Ese Baba” carried special meaning considering the shreds of difficulty endured lately.

Though challenging moments still lie ahead for many, this praise song reminds us of the Lord’s divine grace, protection and redemption eternally within reach.
As the first soulful notes flowed from my lips, I could see fellow worshippers already nodding along in recognition, hands raised to the sky in hopeful surrender. The lyrics translate to “Thank You Father” in Yoruba while extolling God’s goodness, mercy and mighty deeds done on behalf of all creation. Despite hardships we cannot control, Holy help constantly surrounds us even when not immediately felt.
Of course the blissful Sunday service concluded sooner than these uplifted souls wished to part ways. But we trust the waves of restoration, courage and vision cast by joining in praise will continue rippling forward impacting everyday choices. Just as God stretched out his mighty hands delivering the faithful time and again in scripture, he remains working miracles gently through each of us today.
Thank you all for allowing me to share another musical gift cultivating the seeds of inspiration, empathy and wonder He so desires flourishing in humanity. I look ahead to next Sunday already, humming joyfully in anticipation. Please take care of yourselves this week and know you are never alone walking life’s winding roads “Ese Baba” promises relief awaits in due time if we but ask. Tune in next Sunday as we soulfully regroup and refresh once more.

This is awesome dear
Thank you so much Treasuree. You sang it beautifully. I've been searching for this song online for a few years now and could not locate it. I learnt the song when I lived a couple years in Nigeria and fell in love with that song, particularly the verse, since that was mainly what was repeated in the church service. Long after I left the country, I find that is one of my go to songs to sing in Thanksgiving to God. I feel like there is just a special anointing associated with it. Thanks for introducing me to the verse - I will seek out its translation. God has blessed you ever so richly!
