Photo obtained from the ground where I stayed for 10 minutes after completing a workout that turned out to be too ambitious for my current state of fitness...
5km run in controlled progression, starting at 5'30"/km and finishing at 4'40"/km followed by 8 repetitions of 200m run fast (perhaps too fast) separated by a 100m jog break between repetitions.

In principle, it shouldn't have been a problem but when I was 3 km into the run I saw that my heart was pumping too high for the pace I was running at, indicating that I didn't have the conditions to push that hard.

In any case, I wanted to do the repetitions in the time I was looking for, that is, 200m in 44 seconds (3'40"/km) and the 100m recovery in about 40 seconds too...

They are very anaerobic repetitions for my current shape, I should have recovered more between them, but, sometimes, I can be quite stubborn with myselh and I refused to assume that I am not as good as I was a few months ago...due to lack of training, obviously.

My GARMIN watch is not wrong this time, it seems that I need more than 60 days of rest now (LoL).

Keep on running!
