Thoughtful Daily Post Curation Compilation #58
By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

It's A Pirate's Life For Me by @trucklife-family

Okay, so before anyone gets too excited, I am not sailing away with a pirate crew. But I am very busy, getting ready for the next Love Pirates Festival, which is taking place next month. The festival, is taking place in the same place, but at a different site within the campsite. I visited there last month, to get an idea of what type of decor was needed and what would work. I'm happy to report that there is lots of wall space ( which is great as we have two graffiti artists on our team) and poles, which means lots of flags
I Love AI… But I’m Keeping My IQ Intact by @whatmidesays

You know, this week’s prompt reminded me of the meme I saw that went like this: Me: hey chatGPT, please recommend nice recipes for jollof rice My friend: hey chatGPT, recommend nice recipes for jollof rice Years later after chatGPT apparently tries to take over the world, it says, “spare that one, she always says please” pointing at me. Lol. That gave me a good laugh. I do chat with AI tools politely, but not out of fear, it's just who I am. Even in real life, I’m naturally polite to people, regardless of age
Do we have the ability to change? by @millycf1976

My honey arrived on the boat just as I sat down to make myself a sandwich. While unloading some groceries and supplies, he stated, "Oh, I have something that's going to make you happy". In my brain, I thought, "Oh, I'm already unhappy just hearing that. I cannot imagine anything in your possession that will make me happy. I can foresee clutter, but surely not happiness"
If only we could be children. by @bipolar95

I finally got to understand the meaning of "do not act in anger," and it has been a wake up call since then. Although I still feel some sense of regret from my actions, I'm trying not to be overwhelmed by it, because I despise being regretful. Which is why, during conflict, I prefer to take the diplomatic approach. But what would you decide if, despite your diplomacy, the trouble is persistent? Will you fight back or continue to ignore it?

Ever had to deal with writers block? How did you overcome? I've heard so many people ask questions like that and honestly I think I overcame writers block last year when I took up the 365days writing streak challenge. Firstly, reading helps to fight writers block so much. It opens your mind to new things and expose you to different culture and even style of writing
Love knows no Distance by @ibbtammy

How did I ever move from “I want to leave this house” to “I want to go back home badly? ” What happened? Hehehe, I guess life happened. I remember threatening everyone in my family that I was gonna disappear one day. I remember making mindblowing plans of when I’d leave my father’s house and I remembered vividly how I packed my bags and left for another city to start my life all alone
Love, April by @jhymi

I had a yearning. A deep yearning. Let me out of here, I constantly thought to myself. I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be around you people
Before i noticed by @repayme4568

I did understand her, I am not a woman, but I still let those joyful tears out sometimes, so I understand how she felt, I suppose, we do not have to be too surprising, it is good in some occasions, but in most times, we finds out that the people we present the gift to, might be carried away by the surprised, and so, we might see a joyful tears coming out from them. I have a friend who do not like surprises, he always told me to informed him of a thing i want us to do before time. Also, most people don't want to watched it, even while knowing that, such tears is of joy, they finds themselves sobbing too, because it might be too much for them to witness. Anyway, something like that is good, and that is what life is all about, as we create that space of happiness in the life of the people's we love and care about. When I was small, I think within the age of eighteen, I saw it in that exams, that we should write a story that center's on, "tears of joy" To be sincere, I did not want to touched that particular question, since there were others questions to choose from, in that category
Thoughtful Thursday prompt.... Loving the techs. by @beckyroyal

At the time of my birth and early childhood in the late 1980’s, there was no technological gadget or equipment anywhere to do anything for us in my family. Everything was done manually. I recall the only technological device was a monochrome television with a tune dial. You had to tune the dial to get a clearer signal before you can enjoy the television program. Later on DVD players and colour television became a thing and my dad bought them
Times like then by @oluchi31

For this week's prompt, I have a story. As a child I loved reading to the extent, that absence of light was no longer a hindrance to me. I would read till late at night, using whatever source of light there was. My parents warned me countless times about how unhealthy it is for my eyes and I knew they were right deepdown but then, I just wanted to read. So, there was this particular night, I and my siblings were the only ones at home
