Such a shame to hear you lost so many of your pictures from that location. But on the bright side you had the horses. I love visiting place like that with friendly horses who all know that the people are there just to feed them! They can be such sweet animals, and I brought my young son to a ranch like that several times over the years.

I learned to ride horses relatively young, I grew up with most of the neighbors owning horses. My parents never did as they were expensive to keep. I always enjoyed riding, but my son was terrified and never wanted to learn. He was perfectly happy feeding them carrots and apples though! lol

That sounds like a great town, and the heat away from the ocean was good for the lungs from the sound of it. Well, maybe next time the pictures will work out better, at least you had a nice stop there in Greyton!
