RE: Building a community on Hive
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
The community can take a step further to begin a hangout, which I believe would further harvest ideas, promote the community's vision, assign tasks, maybe even giveaways, but in all, build a family with a common interest.
I've heard a few comments that we should increase the userbase of the community. Personally I would much rather it be a small group of people who are like family. In the #hivelearners I've met a few great people but overall find that there are so many people it is hard to remember everyone.
In this community there are less than a dozen but I know them all...at least a little bit. I hope that's a feeling I can keep for as long as the community remains.
Personally I like the idea of giveaways. Well, sort of giveaways :) I've love to purchase different items through aliexpress and have them delivered to members (at no charge to them) in return for them writing a bit about how things went. Recently I bought an android tablet with bluetooth keyboard and mouse. They have worked very well for content creation. Unfortunately the shipping cost for me to send to a community member is more than I paid for the item to start with :(
It is an idea in the back of my mind... but then again so many ideas rolling around in there also.
Side note: I asked #hivepakistan to curate this post. It's no lazypanda but just my way to add a little value to the post.
Thank you.
I love the idea of few and committed rather than plenty and not committed
Thank you for your heart of kindness!!!
Glad my idea meets with approval :)
Also, I know its past time for a new post prompt and to rewards previous ones. I've had the flu for the 3 days and I've been pretty wiped out.
As per your recommendation I'll see what I can to do increase rewards for the loyal members :) also want to work towards a Hive Hangout (and permaculture research station ;) ... but so many ideas and so little capital (sigh)
