I think retiring indefinitely from work is usually what comes to mind when we think of retirement but it's not always realistic in practice. Because there are some good aspects of working apart from the burden and mechanical aspect of it that we've been so used to. I think the type of work we do just changes and we can have more room to try out different activities that we may find interesting. I'd probably spend most of my time on spiritual work if I had the ability to retire now, so much interesting work in that domain :)
