Right. Attention is concentrated towards a select few which establishes the standard of aspiration for the rest and sometimes this standard can be quite unrealistic, too. So people end up getting sucked further to achieve what's more or less an illusion.

But there are things beyond social media, which may bring us satisfaction or success, in today's world. And we shouldn't neglect them.

I love this! It's why I always make sure to completely log off from social media whenever I'm out and about IRL.
