Finally the medicine works !

The social media is not 100 % true. There are contents, which promises to be genuine and appeared realistic, but in really such content never works out. In the digital age where everything is easily available on the internet, people does really on them. But their authenticity is not guaranteed. People get into their trap and may end up getting some important lesson. I learned one of the hard lesson in life after some painful moment in last one month. What appears to be normal spasm ended up in serious injury and I narrowly spoiled it more by following these easily available social media posts. And I paid the price.

It all started with my stretching routine, which I dedicately following since last few month. Everything was going well untill I developed a pain around the right side of the waist. It was a normal bike ride and when I was getting down, I felt a pain on the right side around the waistline. I did not took the matter so seriously and applied some spasms control ointment. I got some temporary relief, but the pain did not got away. Gradually the pain keeps on increasing. When someone pointed that such kind of pain is due to sciatica and only get recovered, by following few physiotherapy. As I was in middle of the stevhing routine, I didn't mind following few more steps for my recovery. It was then only I realised that the pain gets bad to worst.

While stretching is often associated with injury prevention, it can actually lead to injury if not done properly. Overstretching, or stretching muscles and ligaments beyond their capacity, can result in strains, sprains, and other soft tissue injuries. I was doing some stretching extensively, which resulted in my injury. The pain was unbearable. In fact, the pain run down from the waist to calf area. I was unable to put weight on the right side, neither I manage to bend down.

With some inputs and suggestion, I started looking for video tutorials for sciatica pain relief. I did tried all those stretching exercises, only to make the situation more worse. I was no way near of getting rid of the pain. After one month of tussle, with my right side and I ended up consulting a doctor. A neuro specialist, having years of experience at his back.

My injury also brought to the harsh reality of rising medical costs. Just for attending me, the doctor charged me $ 11. This was my first visit to the doctor after a decades. So never knew the alarming costs of medical expenses. But somehow after consultstion, and some inputs at the experinced hand, I started taking the medicine. He was quick to identify my problem and prescribed some costly medicine. Now it's time to get out of the digital world and focus on the practical aspect of treatment. I followed him as per his subscription, and started feeling better within 2 days. There was a minor hiccups with my nerve, it was pressing against a bone. His medication helped me getting rid of the contant pain. Even though I am yet to fully recover, but the sense of feeling relief help me calm down.

At times when we blindly follow the online content, we may end up on the wrong end of life. As most of the content were not proven facts. They were the forwarded messages which makes the content viral with no head and tail. The creator makes such content only to garner views and likes, but such content were not completelly true. So be careful, what we see and alwsys consult a physiatrist before started own treatment.

In good faith - Peace!!

Sciatica is pretty bad. I'd gladly pay $11 though. My insurance copay is something like $35 and if I haven't met my deductible yet I have to pay about $75 every time I got to the doctor for my back!

always consult a physicist before started own treatment.

At least don't start your own treatment by looking at recommendations from social media or even google search - they are worst. At times kids search in the internet and I strongly recommend against that, taking them to a doctor - it costs time and money but worth it.
