Very interesting @silversaver888 I've never heard about the history of the Le Griffon.....
The great lakes are very dangerous from my understand!! This also reminds me of the Gordon Lightfoot song the Edmund Fitzgerald as well!🙄

I am learning as I go, @silvertop! I must have watched 4 YouTube videos on Le Griffon. And I didn't realize the Great Lakes were that dangerous, and it has the world's most shipwrecks. I've seen the Great Lake, and it didn't look dangerous!
Ah... the mysterious sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, one of the most famous shipwrecks in American history... well, made famous by the song!

I would love to see the Great Lakes @silversaver888 have never been that far north east.
Sounds like summertime is the time to visit, with winter storms being treacherous!😮
