The viral Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate Bar was first created in Dubai, where it quickly captured attention for its unique blend of traditional Middle Eastern flavors and modern chocolate confectionery.

Dubai chocolate bars are similar to Nestle Crunch, but with a delightful twist—packed with the rich flavor of pistachio nuts and delectable pistachio nougat.

When this trend blew up over the summer, most people had to get these treats shipped all the way from Dubai, UAE.

People were so curious about these chocolate bars that they drove for hours to Arabic specialty food stores.

Others lined up for ages at spots like the Nuts Factory in New York City, which even had to limit customers to just one bar per person when they started making their own version.

This dessert consists of a pistachio cream filling and crispy kunafa pastry, all encased in a chocolate shell.

It became an internet sensation on TikTok, with countless videos showcasing its intricate preparation and mouth-watering taste.

The viral trend has inspired many to attempt making the dessert themselves.

What began as a trend now appears to have staying power. You can find Dubai chocolate milkshakes in Chicago, Dubai chocolate cupcakes in Houston, and Dubai chocolate croissants in San Francisco, Dubai chocolate pound cake in Paterson, NJ, and Baskin-Robbins is now offering Dubai chocolate ice cream bars at many of its locations.

Seeing Dubai chocolate in so many dishes makes me think this dessert has now become a staple of the American palate.

I really wanted to give it a try, especially since it's not available in any of the stores in my town.

I saw a special on the woman who created them, it was selling so well her husband quit his job and started working with her to make more! That looks delicious! The market for a US competitor is still wide open, but it won't be me jumping into the market. I don't know anything about making candy!

I was also curious and I bought some in a mediterranean market near me, but it was not as good as I thought. At least that one. It had too much chocolate, for too little filling. Looking for a different one to try again.
