We're halfway there with passports and driving licences. I renewed my licence the other day with a few clicks. When I was at the hospital recently they knew which unrelated blood tests I'd had and the results (although annoyingly they never know what medication you are taking and you have to go through the litany every time). A large amount of health information is shared, apparently anonymised. Road tax and MOT information is all available, plus CCTV everywhere. Private investigators (and the police) can track your whereabouts through your mobile phone and ATM usage. The only good thing is it is not co-ordinated.

I think we are one of the most surveilled nations on earth, right?
And then some. The only saving grace is our wonderful bureaucracy prevents optimisation!
