it’s a very strange situation to have been acknowledged by three of my favorite semi well known artists this year and still struggle to get any sustained attention on my music. I wonder if sustained attention even exists anymore

Hard to say about it because I am not a music type person.
The whole world has ADD. Sustained attention is definitely rare. Just do you! You may not get rich but you will sleep like a baby!
I read this out to sibling dearest as I'm on a call with her and she replied "Nope" and yeh nah not with a lot of people it seems.
Yeah. I think I used all mine up on full time Hive-ing for 7 or 8 years. I had some left to give and I do not anymore!
It’s hard to imagine that people outside of the city are like this too but then I need to remind myself that I’m less physically addicted to the internet than most people and more just addicted to my projects now
