Most times institutions like this get complaints like this too.
It doesn't usually do anything (in my stupid ass country).
It's an inner change, maybe change of leadership to whip the employees in shape.

Yeah, it sucks. I did get an apology stating they're reviewing this with the person who made the mistake. At least the tracking finally updated, so it's not lost.
