Rainy Days and Comfort Food: Vegetable Dish with String Beans, Swerte for our Snacks, and Cup Noodles Sotanghon Chicken Flavor for Dinner

I slept really early last night, like 8:40 pm. I set aside my phone and covered myself with my blanket. It started to rain again at night, and it's nonstop. I sleep while it's raining, and after an hour and a half, I woke up, and it was still raining. That's also when I heard something's going on outside. Mama and Mommy D are outside as I check on them. I can also hear a siren from a fire truck, and it's really close. So I also went outside and asked Mama, and she told me there's a fire and it's really just close, it's the building near the restaurant where I often buy chicken sisig, which is like the 5th building from our home.

Mommy D is very concerned about what happened, especially because she can still smell the smoke. I can't really smell it, though. Fortunately, no one got hurt, and the fire was put out much faster thanks also to the fast response of the firefighters here. Even our mayor helps, I just saw it this morning as some people were doing a live while they were extinguishing the fire. We're also thankful that it rained last night because for sure that also helped those cool firefighters put the fire out much faster. And really, thank heaven no one got hurt and the fire didn't become big (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡.

Anyways, we didn't really go outside today, you know, we visit the market to buy some stuffs. But ahh, except when I went outside just to buy Pandesal. Its cold and Pandesal with any hot drink is really a perfect pair. As for our Lunch, Mommy D just made a vegetable dish with string beans and okra. It'a from Auntie Velyn. We don't eat string beans that often because it's bad for Mommy F. I love it cooked as Adobo but I also love it in a soupy dish like this. Yum, yum! It's a healthy lunch! ╮⁠(⁠＾⁠▽⁠＾⁠)⁠╭

And yesterday, Mama bought a pack of snack in a nearby grocery store, it's called Swerte. She bought that with white packaging, but my favorite is the one with yellow packaging because they usually have a much yummier kind of crushed biscuits inside. This one is with just plain crackers, still not bad though. It's still a good snack wither way.

Swerte means luck, you can see those numbers in the packaging right? They're like freebies that you can get inside if you are lucky. But even before, I never once get anything inside except the foods. Lol. They are like just a display in there to fool some kids. Lol. And I can't still get the reason why there's A frog on their packaging, like why? Mommy D sells that before and instead of calling it on its name, kids call it "Palaka" or frog. Lol. like really, why frog? Haha

So this is what you can find inside the packaging, it's a mix of crackers and biscuits and they are mostly crushed. And seriously, this is not the healthiest snack that we can e at but its still taste good kasi, haha. And who knows where they process this, are they just leftovers in some company? Who really knows but we don't experience any stomachache when we eat it so its safe to assume that they are safe to eat. I'm curious if my fellow Filipinos know about this snack.

I thought I wont't go anywhere this evening but Mommy F suddenly crave Sotanghon in a cup, you know that instant cup noodles that you can buy in any convenience store.

Mommy F planning to eat this for dinner later, as for me, I will eat mine tomorrow. I think this will taste really good with hot pandesal └|∵|┐♪. So Yeah, my breakfast's ready (✿^‿^)
