Delicious Snacks I Made for the Fam: Milky Banana Balls Made With Crushed Peanut and Love
Whenever Mommy D will make a Banana Balls, the preparation would be like this, she'll prepare the batter, from mashing the banana, to mixing other ingredients in it. Then i'll do the frying once she finished making it. I actually don't watch her make it and will just learned later that we'll make a banana balls once she handed the banana balls mixture to me. Sometimes she will just used glutinous rice flour, but most of the times she used wheat flour. I actually prefer glutinous rice flour for chewy texture but it eats a lot of oil. But if we really want to eat oil... errr, to have banana balls with glutinous rice flour Mommy D will make it using that.
But today's version is different, this time though we used both glutinous rice flour and wheat flour. Though it still absorbed lots of oil, but we still enjoy it by coating the banana balls with powdered milk. Sounds good right? I find it weird the first time I tried it but as I eat more of it, it become too addicting. So I will share that here. To be honest, we don't have fixed measurement for the batter. We just used "tantyameter" or you know, just feel it and mix them. Lol. So let's starteuuuu \(^o^)/? And yes, i'm the one who prepare the batter this time coz mommy D is kinda busy. And I just realized how hard to smash a not so ripe bananas ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌

This is a mixture of not so ripe bananas and an overripe bananas. The overripe is much easier to smash while the other ones, aigoooo, my hands not used to smashing... we don't have smasher and Mommy D's not aware of it yet, I think

Smashing time... I used fork yes, but in the end I used a glass to smash it, you know the hard part of a glass. So mommy D can easily mash a bananas easily with it and she doesn't need any smasher because she already has a more effective weapon, lol. (≧▽≦) Sene ell! Lol

So I used wheat flour and glutinous rice flour on this version, we run out of flour so we had to use more GRF in it. We also used powdered milk, three tablespoon, then one large egg and two tablespoon of sugar. The powdered milk is already sweet so we didn't put much sugar in it.

For the water we add it gradually while mixing them together, I mixed it really hard. This is just experimental, it's Mommy D thought of mixing crushes nuts in it. I never thought I'll like it especially it gives a crunchy effect to the banana balls. Its seriously so good!

The consistency of the batter should be not too watery and kinda thick. After that it's frying time! This is the hardest part ⊙.☉ but I was able to fry them all. Look at all that, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. And the nuts? Ughhh, heaven!

It's time to coat them with powdered milk! It's Mommy D who come up with the idea. But then I remember that I also watched a vlog on FB making banana balls coated with milk.

So I think Mommy D got the idea in there. I find it weird at first but later on, I'm looking more for it's milky taste, we used Birch Tree powdered milk here by the way.

By the way, I tried to skewer it, and I think this could be also a good product to sell. What do you all think guys? Not a bad idea yeah (☆▽☆)? You can just remove the glutinous rice flour and use wheat flour instead. \(^o^)/
