I already have an idea of what to make if ever there's no available fish in the wet market. I'll make crispy Carrot Fritters but without egg. This recipe is for Mommy F, she's experiencing allergy and so egg is one of the thing she has to avoid, no chicken too because I think thats the trigger why she suddenly has it. And you know, its a good thing I have back up plan for today's dish because there's really no available fish in the market

So, today is Friday -but wow, it's already Friday or maybe FriYAY to some. But isn't this a bit too fast. Like, its feels like yesterday is just Monday ʘ‿ʘ

And so yeah, Friday means Tiangge-an day. After buying carrots, flour and some cooked vegetable dish, we then headed here to where the tiangge-an is. Mama wanted to check it.

I couldn't anything to buy there but Mama found a red egg or salted egg. I also saw some duck egg, I think this is a duck egg. Not sure if salted or just the regular egg..mama bought 2 cracked salted egg, yes, cracked one. And they sell it at a cheaper price. Mama smells them before buying them to make sure that theybare still a good one.

And when we arrived home, I immediately prepared the ingredients for my carrot fritters. I usually use egg here but flour will do too

I actually used a grater here but I had to cut the small ones which I can't grate anymore, lol. I am afraid that my fingers might be grated too if I try, lol

I also minced some garlic and onions here, I minced a lot because WHY NOT? I also used lot of pepper that I grind using a stone haha - and I combined them all (^._.^)ノ

Now for the flour, I used 5 tablespoon of flour here, just regular flour. I also mix salt, MSG and a tiny bit of chicken cubes to give it more taste into it.

I added the water next, seriously, I didn't measure the water. I added it gradually until I get the consistency that I want for the mixture.

And then I poured all the carrots together with the others and mix them well. I had to taste it too just to make sure that it won't be too bland.

And it's frying time. I didn't put much oil in it because I didn't really make a lot. It is just good for one people and good for two meal. I made it good and crispy. I let the oldies taste it after frying one and she APPROVED! Awesomeness!!! \(^o^)/

To removed the excess oil, I used a strainer and let the oil drains. I also uses tissue papers here just to make sure that the oil was absorbed

And there we have it, crispy and so yummy. I really want to make a special dip for it using vinegar but we run out of it so ketchup will do.

Happy Eating!
