My Modern Experience And an Amazing Battle | Splinterlands

I have been playing in the Wild format in the Splinterlands for a long time, but there have been some changes in this format in the current season and there will be some more changes in the next season. I talked about these in my post 2 days ago and I will not talk about the same things in this post. If you want to read it, here is the post link. I've been wondering for 2 days whether I should continue with the Wild format or go back to the Modern format, but before deciding, I wanted to experience the Modern format, which I haven't played in a long time. Also, I am currently in the Champion III League in the Wild.

I started the Modern format 2 days ago from the Bronze II League. I fought 58 battles in 2 days and won 45, lost 11 and drew 2 and have a streak of 27 wins. My win rate is 77.59%. And now I'm in the Silver I League with a rating of 1,760 and I'm only 140 ratings away from the Gold League. There is only one day left for the season to end and my goal is to complete the current season in the gold league, let's see if I can achieve it. Also, I think my stats so far in the Modern format are not bad at all. Especially in the Silver league, the battles are still pretty tough and I am matched with players with max level cards. It is really frustrating to be matched with such a player in the silver league, but skills win the battles, not cards, and I won this battle with a good strategy and I will write a review about this battle in the coming days.

I think using max level cards in all leagues upsets the balance and there will be changes regarding this in the coming months, because I think this is not sustainable. At least if there is no limit on card levels, I think rewards should be equal for everyone in all leagues. So if I'm fighting against max level cards, my reward should be at max level. This is my personal opinion, but I have no idea how things are progressing in the gaming ecosystem.

But overall, I am happy to play in the Modern because the rewards are much higher than in the Wild format. For example, while I earn an average of 1 SPS from the battles I win in the Champion III league in the Wild format, I earn 2 SPS in the Silver I League in the Modern format. And the Glint rewards I get from the battles I win seem to be almost equal for me. By the way, I would like to point out that I did not make a detailed calculation, I just calculated it roughly.

In conclusion, I am happy to be back in the Modern for now and will only play in the Modern format from now on. I hope there will be more players in the Modern format in the coming seasons and the matches will be more balanced in terms of power. Frankly, I enjoy playing Splinterlands very much, that's why I love this game, the reward is secondary to me and I would continue to play Splinterlands even if I didn't win any rewards. Splinterlands is the best game I've ever played, and I hope it gets better in the future, and I have no doubt that the Splinterlands team is doing their best to make it better.
