Ha, ha, ha... but they were very good, although the cinnamon one was very tasty, when I ate them I got an allergy which made me go to bed for two days, I didn't know it would really affect me so much, and I didn't have any anti-allergic medicine at home or anything like that.

Queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad, quiero compartir con ustedes el proceso de elaboración de las tortas de chocolate y de canela que realizó mi mamá, sin querer hizo una de canela, ya que se confundió con el cacao y se le echó una taza de canela en vez de cacao, suele pasar, pero es que ya estábamos agotadas, habíamos pasado todo el día con lo de las hallacas y nuestro cuerpo y mente ya no daban para más. Ja, ja, ja... pero quedaron muy buenas, aunque la de canela quedó muy rica, yo al comerlas me dio una alergia la cual me tiro en cama por dos días, no sabía que me afectaría tanto de verdad, y no tenía antialérgicos en casa ni nada parecido.

Al vestir estas mezclas en las torteras se meten al horno a fuego lento y se espera media hora para poder aumentarle la temperatura, después de esto media hora en el horno aproximadamente, o mejor para saber que está lista se le mete un palillo de altura en el centro y si este sale limpio es que la torta ya está lista, seguidamente se saca y se deja reposar unos segundos y luego se voltea en un platón de vidrio, se tiene que hacer con la torta caliente, ya que al caramelo ponerse frío se endurece y se corre el riesgo que la torta no quede bien. Al tenerlas ya en el platón de vidrio para que se viera bonita le colocamos pelotitas de colores de la navidad y listo tenemos nuestras 3 tortas, 1 de chocolate y una de canela accidentalmente pero muy rica.
