Hahaha! Good question :)
Jamie is a good friend of mine. He got this baritone ukulele for a great price at a used market. Later he found out that it was a somewhat valuable antique, but he just used it for strumming and having fun. Last year he had a stroke and can no longer manage to play, so he nailed this beautiful instrument to me. I am sad for his loss, but have made it my goal to honor and feature his ukulele to the best that I can :)

Aww, that's lovely that you give it some extra life.. Would be a shame if it's not getting used! Is this a new instrument to you? It sounds perfect to me!
I think the chord shapes of a baritone are similar to a guitar, are they not? I think mine is a concert one with different shapes.
They say the older a violin the better it sounds I believe.
If the same applies to any instrument then keep playing this little treasure!

Hope you play some happy tunes for Jamie from time to time. At least he can sing along.. 😃

It is a new instrument for me! Luckily it’s true as you mentioned, the tuning is the same as a guitar that’s missing two strings, so it’s not too bad to learn :)

I agree, I think age tempers the instrument and makes it sweeter…a lot like us humans I suppose!
