Hahaha! Good question :)
Jamie is a good friend of mine. He got this baritone ukulele for a great price at a used market. Later he found out that it was a somewhat valuable antique, but he just used it for strumming and having fun. Last year he had a stroke and can no longer manage to play, so he nailed this beautiful instrument to me. I am sad for his loss, but have made it my goal to honor and feature his ukulele to the best that I can :)

Aww, that's lovely that you give it some extra life.. Would be a shame if it's not getting used! Is this a new instrument to you? It sounds perfect to me!
I think the chord shapes of a baritone are similar to a guitar, are they not? I think mine is a concert one with different shapes.
They say the older a violin the better it sounds I believe.
If the same applies to any instrument then keep playing this little treasure!

Hope you play some happy tunes for Jamie from time to time. At least he can sing along.. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

It is a new instrument for me! Luckily itโ€™s true as you mentioned, the tuning is the same as a guitar thatโ€™s missing two strings, so itโ€™s not too bad to learn :)

I agree, I think age tempers the instrument and makes it sweeterโ€ฆa lot like us humans I suppose!
