Hey friends, one more day and one more reflection on this topic, what a pleasure to think and what drives us every day in our life or system in which we live and in no case I live in Portugal. Most of the two countries today live as a democratic system. In Portugal it is no different. We have had democracy for many years and, at least in theory, this means that only people can choose to govern and have some say in the decisions that affect everyone's life. Let's think a little and ask some questions like for example: But could it be that this has been the same good for us? Could democracy help me or make me live better?

When I thought about democracy in Portugal, I saw things better and more like everything in life. On the other hand, we can vote, we can say what we think, and we do not run the risk of being imprisoned just because we criticize the government and it was a great conquest of the people because it was never that way. There is freedom of the press, there are demonstrations and none of them stop us by force. This is important and nothing is worth it. It is enough to look for countries that live in difficulties to perceive the value that this item has.

But, at the same time, I feel that many times democracy in Portugal is a bit of a facade and is not really realized. We voted four in four years, but later it seems that things have changed little. As promises made in campaigns that are never fulfilled, politicians are more concerned with the interests of people than with the real needs of the people. Corruption appears here and there, and many times it does not pay for isso. And so, let's see if we can do very well, because it seems that all politicians are the same.

Another thing I noticed is that democracy should serve to bring the governors and the governed closer together, but in Portugal there seems to be a wall between what is at the top and what is at the bottom. The job is done, you pay heavy taxes, and many times you don't see a return. Health continues with ranks, education is lacking, salaries are low and life is becoming more and more expensive. So I ask that what serves democracy is the quality of life not as good as it should be? This is what we should think about.

Could there be another system that could work better? I don't have an easy answer. Some falam in direct democracy, in that people vote in concrete decisions and not just in parties. Others say that they should be competent people, chosen by merit and not by party, to govern. I don't know what the perfect formula would be, but I know that something had to change, but sometimes there is little hope in change.

Or that I feel that democracy only works if we are attentive, active and involved because we sit with our arms crossed waiting for the politicians to solve everything, we are not going anywhere. Perhaps it is not a change of system that will save Portugal, but rather a change in the way we participate. We need to demand more, charge more, and not let ourselves be fooled by beautiful promises, but often we make false promises, many times we do not distinguish truth from lies.

In short, democracy in Portugal has some good things, without doubt, but still not troubled or bem-estar that it meant. The system works on paper, but it needs to work in real life. And that's all he's going to do is prove that he can really use that power, that's what he thought.

Olá amigos mais um dia e mais uma reflexão sobre este tema que gosto de pensar e que nos gere todos os dias na nossa vida o sistema em que vivemos e no meu caso vivo em Portugal.A maioria dos países hoje em dia vive com o sistema democrático. Em Portugal não é diferente. Nós temos democracia há muitos anos e, pelo menos na teoria, isso significa que o povo pode escolher quem governa e ter alguma voz nas decisões que afetam a vida de todos. Vamos pensar um pouco e levantar algumas questões como por exemplo:Mas será que isso tem sido mesmo bom para nós? Será que a democracia tem ajudado o povo a viver melhor?

Quando penso na democracia em Portugal, vejo coisas boas e más como em tudo na vida. Do lado bom, podemos votar, podemos dizer o que pensamos, e não corremos o risco de ser presos só porque criticamos o governo e isso foi uma grande conquista do povo porque nem sempre foi assim. Há liberdade de imprensa, há manifestações e ninguém nos cala à força. Isso é importante e não é pouca coisa. Basta olhar para países que vivem em ditaduras para perceber o valor que isto tem.

Mas, ao mesmo tempo, sinto que muitas vezes a democracia em Portugal é um pouco de fachada e quem não se concretiza realmente. Votamos de quatro em quatro anos, mas depois parece que as coisas mudam pouco. As promessas feitas nas campanhas quase nunca se cumprem, os políticos andam mais preocupados com interesses deles do que com as necessidades reais das pessoas. A corrupção aparece aqui e ali, e muitas vezes ninguém paga por isso. E nós, o povo, ficamos a ver, sem conseguir fazer muito,porque parece que todos os politicos são iguais.

Outra coisa que noto é que a democracia devia servir para aproximar governantes e governados, mas em Portugal parece existir um muro entre quem está lá em cima e quem está cá em baixo. O povo trabalha, paga impostos pesados, e muitas vezes não vê retorno. A saúde continua com filas, a educação tem falhas, os salários são baixos e a vida está cada vez mais cara. Então pergunto de que serve a democracia se a qualidade de vida não melhora como devia?E é isto que devemos pensar.

Será que existe outro sistema que poderia funcionar melhor? Não tenho uma resposta fácil. Alguns falam em democracia direta, em que o povo vota em decisões concretas e não apenas em partidos. Outros dizem que deviam ser pessoas competentes, escolhidas pelo mérito e não pelo partido, a governar. Eu não sei qual seria a fórmula perfeita, mas sei que algo devia mudar,mas as vezes já existe pouca esperança na mudança.

O que sinto é que a democracia só funciona mesmo bem se o povo estiver atento, ativo e envolvido porque se ficarmos de braços cruzados à espera que os políticos resolvam tudo, não vamos a lado nenhum. Talvez não seja trocar de sistema que vai salvar Portugal, mas sim mudar a forma como participamos. Precisamos de exigir mais, cobrar mais, e não deixar que nos enganem com promessas bonitas, mas muitos de nós vamos em falsas promessas, muitas das vezes não distinguimos a verdade da mentira.

Em resumo, a democracia em Portugal tem coisas boas, sem dúvida, mas ainda não trouxe o bem-estar que devia. O sistema funciona no papel, mas falta funcionar na vida real. E isso só vai mudar se o povo acreditar que tem poder e usar esse poder de verdade, isso é o que eu penso.
