Weekly Running Update, long, longer, shorter!
So I've had a decent week's running this last week....
Unusually for me I opted for two long (ish) runs and then one shorter run, haven't done that pattern for ages, but I was just in the mood!
Thursday 9K
I'm not really sure why I went out to Breinton for longer run, rather than my local 5K, I was just in the mood, I think it was just the pleasant weather, it was a great little easyish run....
Sunday 10K
A classic 10K Sunday run, it feels like it's been ages since I've done one of these. Same route as the last time just with a bit of an extension loop half way around, this was so pleasant, very enjoyable!
Slightly slower pace than the previous one, but 1K more, so that's fine!
Tuesday 5K
I had to put my car in for an MOT and the garage happened to be near the running track, so I'd planned to do some intervals, but on arrival I found the track had been booked for some schools activity - apparently they were hosting some 700 kids over the course of the day!
So I just opted for a local run around the race course... kind of made it up as I went along, I had a good feel for the five K I wanted to do so I managed to time the end for a coffee stop!
Next week's plans...
I might up the length of the long run slightly and try to get in at least one interval session, maybe even MORE morning runs too.

It can be nice to improvise sometimes. Got to keep it interesting. The weather has been a bit mixed lately, but not too cold.
