I love seeing Hivers collaborate on projects. Poet @raj808 and @nickyhavey did that on a spoken word piece that was performed at a poetry evening.

Thanks for the shout-out and highlighting our posts @steevc 👍
It took a lot of time to put that piece together, and a small amount of money as we had it professionally digitally mastered at a studio for £20 each. But when you love your craft you want it the best it can be.

Nicky's music lifted that poem to a whole different level! 🙂

P.s. I also read @killerwot post and it intrigued me as I recently wrote a 1600-word comment (yes you heard that right) in response to Alexvan, who promptly ran away, and went and told everyone in the private LeoFinance discord (or telegram) & lordbutterfly turned up on my post trying his little tricks to goad me into a conversation so he could try to control the narrative of the comment I'd written (but I refuse to engage with him as I've watched him on hive gaslighting people for shts and giggles for the last 5 and a half years.) Strangely enough, he used to spend a huge amount of time (as I did) facing down bidbot owners, but I made one small allusion to the wasted opportunities of his (DHF) marketing campaign (201 words out of a 1600 word comment).

And quite frankly, until we get these rid of the 'gatekeeper' types who are sent to try to contradict, confuse and generally create noise around criticisms, people will continue to be driven away from hive, when they should be nurtured, or at least judged on their content.

The content creators (outside of the many games) are the product of hive. And I've repeatedly seen high-quality creative writers (mainly because that is what I've been around most of the time, hounded off Steem (back in the day), I haven't so much on hive so far.

But it is these things that make me mad about hive. It's literally destroyed from within by what I call 'Opinion Junkies'... people who write, talk or vlog exclusively about hive, hive politics and hive projects. And d'you know how boring that content is to people outside hive? VERY BORING. It brings no appeal to anyone other than potential people from other crypto projects. See for yourself on the link below, I got 1 comment about the actual post beyond all the hive-centric nonsense.

I wish you could be making that money back from the Hive posts, but I expect you care more about what you created.

Yeah, it would have been nice... but I've always been a content first person. It is why I won't put fiction up here anymore. My current WIP right now goes to an agent who pitches it to various mainstream publishing entities.

The £20 was worth it though, as I've always wanted a piece of my poetry featured on a musical track, and D'n'B is one of my fav genres. Plus I'm a perfectionist, and the track will go out via 6 0r 7 different web 2.0 distributors as well 🙂
