I found your experience very sweet. When we are first-timers doing something, we will make mistakes and it won't turn out right the first time, but with time, you will improve and you will always enjoy your food because you put your effort into it 😊 I recommend watching cooking videos in your free time (start with easy dishes) and writing down the recipes step by step in a notebook, so it will be easier for you and you won't have to pick up the phone.
