Special Snack : Kembang Goyang/Rosette Cookies

Hi bloggers and food lovers, this time I'm going to share a sweet treat that my family usually makes for big occasions, but I'm making it now. The name sounds unique : kembang, which means flower, because it comes from a flower/rose-shaped mold, and goyang, which means to shake, because you shake the mold to release the dough. Okay, let's get started.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of rice flour
- 200 grams of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
- 1 egg
- 250 ml of thick coconut milk
- 350 ml thin coconut milk
- oil
Steps:

- Mix the rice flour, sugar, salt, vanilla powder, and 1 egg.

- Mix with your hands to form the dough.

- Add the thick coconut milk.

- Gradually add the thin coconut milk until the dough reaches this consistency.

- Strain the dough until it reaches this final consistency.

- Heat the oil and dip the cleaned kembang goyang mold into it

- Once hot, dip the mold into the dough

- Shake the mold in the hot oil until the dough comes off the mold

Cook over low heat until the kembang goyang cake turns golden brown
Remove and drain
Repeat until all the dough is used up
