RE: ¿Conciencia, aceptación o respeto? (Esp- Eng)

Entiendo tus reparos a la hora de dar difusión a estas actividades de concienciación, siento algo similar porque hay tantas causas justas por las que luchar que no se da abasto. Al final se trata de aceptar al diferente como es porque todos formamos parte de la humanidad. Las personas con autismo son ante todo personas, es trabajo nuestro, de los demás, poner a funcionar la empatía y tratar de hacerles la vida lo más sencilla posible al tiempo que alentamos su autonomía. Ojalá que no se necesitaran días mundiales de nada porque todas las personas nos respetásemos tengamos la condición que tengamos. Gracias por recordárnoslo.

I understand your reservations when it comes to publicising these awareness activities, I feel something similar because there are so many just causes to fight for that you can't handle it. In the end it is about accepting the different as it is because we are all part of humanity. People with autism are above all people, it is our job, that of others, to put empathy to work and try to make their lives as easy as possible while encouraging their autonomy. I wish that no world days of anything were needed because all people respect each other, no way, we have the condition we have. Thank you for reminding us.
