Rain is a gift for life. I understand that you feel frustrated by the carelessness of some people, community life has its advantages but also its disadvantages. I'll take your last part, you described a delightful scene of relaxation and wellbeing, I can imagine myself with that coffee in my hands and watching the water falling through that window.

it is a very satisfying feeling and somewhat a comforting moment. I always get excited when it rains cause I think I can be sentimental for a moment.
