Trump and the Mayor of New York's "Unviral" Scandal
A lot happens on the news that is very interesting and worthy of note, but a person can only care about so many things.
A lot of times you see something on the news and you're like Wow! This is really something. Why aren't more people talking about this?
That was how I felt when I saw this news about Trump and the Mayor of New York, I felt more people are supposed to know about this stuff, it's supposed to go viral at least a little, but look no one is talking about it.
So I'm going to talk about it a lil.
What happened was, Mayor Eric Adams was indicted for soliciting for and accepting campaign donations from Turkish Airlines worth over $100, 000.
But soon as Trump got elected he had meetings with Trump, clearly to get a pardon:
And Trump accepted, but gave him an interesting type of pardon called "without prejudice".
This means he's pardoned but at anytime this same charges can be brought up against him again (if Trump decides).
You get what's happening here? Clearly Adams made some promises/concessions in order to get a pardon, Trump agreef but Trump doesn't trust Adams to deliver so Trump pardoned him but in such a way that if Adams doesn't deliver the charges would be brought back against him.
This cracked me up like crazy! Wtf?
Then the messages between Adams and a member of his staff that went like this:
It's so funny when someone gets caught amd their futile attempts to evade getting caught is seen 😅.
Next, the prosecutor in charge of the case who was ordered to drop it for this gangsta pardon had too much honour for this:
Salute!
That was so inspiring to see.
Next, one of the prosecutors had this savage reply to give alongside his resignation:
Like dang! Holy crap!
That was some hard dunk.
It's great to see this much honour on display, and to see freedom of speech and democracy in play. These guys would have died or something in some other countries.
At the end of the day, though, it's about certain that Trump would have his way. Lol. And that's because giving pardons and stuff is legal. Democracies worldwide need to review the laws on pardons, presidents are abusing that power too much. It's also a power that sounds obsolete/archaic.
