Trump Media Plans to Purchase $2.5Billion Worth of Bitcoin

This is a very bullish headline, dang!

Trump Media about to purchase $2.5 Billion worth of Bitcoin. This sounds really bullish, but I think it's not actually as bullish as it sounds. If the news was that Trump Media just bought that it would have been more bullish. If the news was that they are buying that on a specific day = more bullish.

But now if you read the news it's just a plan. You have no reason to think they wouldn't go through with it but at the same time it's just not that convincing/moving.

Secondly, when you see the headline you might feel like they're buying because they know a pump is imminent, but when you read the news and see that they're buying it just as a means of diversifying their portfolio your excitement calms down a bit.

But it's still good news overall, it's always great to see corporations/institutions dip their hands in crypto.

But speculating about Trump's moves is always fun and some theories are running around my head as I look at this headlines. Being very suspicious of Trump I feel like he might try to do something that would make the market dump a little so that they can buy more BTC for that $2.5B. Buying at these prices is not what I'll expect from him.

Some days ago it seemed like he was talking about bringing back tariffs and stuff like that, that was probably him trying to drive down prices. If that's not what he was doing I expect him to do something like that just before they buy.

But I might just be kinda cynical. It would be nice to have the news that they have bought. That and the buy pressure should do something nice to the markets, but at the same time it's kinda sad how the news of Michael Saylor's purchases does nothing to the market.

We hear about all these purchases but no movement at all. 🤦🏾‍♂️

All in all I can't wait for Trump to be done with the bears and be settled for the bulls at last, even though that may never happen because I think he and his guys would make way more money from a market that goes up and down rather than only up. The insider information about these up and down moves is some billion dollar thang, worth more than the pumping of any coin he might have special interests in.
