Can America's Move on Greenland Lead to War Between the NATO Nations?

This whole thing didn't begin with Trump, America has tried to buy Greenland twice: in 1867 and in 1946. Denmark and the Greenlanders refused to sell. So it is clearly not a Trump thing.
The reasons for needing Greenland has been given as strategic due to Greenland's position in a critical location between North America and Europe, ideal for missile early-warning systems, control of air and naval routes between the U.S., Russia, and Europe.
But Greenland being part of Denmark is part of NATO, so doesn't this mean the US already has the access to do all of the things it needs to do if the need arises?
That is the argument of Jon Stewart and a lot of other people, and even though that's not a bad argument, the counter argument holds some water.
I think it is just like in crypto, not your keys, not your crypto. So even though Greenland is owned by an ally as far as it is not owned by USA itself it cannot be said to be completely at the US's disposal. Anything can happen to it at anytime.
Russia or China may not attack it but what if they somehow manage to buy it? Very slim chances, but you never know, and if you let Russia or China make the first move or go far with their move trying to make a counter move would most likely lead to hostilities, so it is best to act early like now.
This Can't Lead to War
The NATO pact says an attack on one would be viewed as an attack on all, so if America attacks Greenland then all of NATO has to view it as an attack and strike back at America (including America 😂, except America leaves NATO first).
But America is NATO. They're the strongest members of the alliance and so the others would hate to go to war with them, which means a deal would most likely be made if America mounts enough pressure.
But if a deal is not made and America takes Greenland by force would the other NATO countries unleash fire on America?
It seems the worst they'll do is fight the American forces in Greenland and nowhere else. That's the worst they'll most likely do. But that's not what seems expected, what seems expected is that if no deal is made America would take Greenland by force and deal to keep the peace would then be made.
America would probably have to pay Denmark for the land and that is all, because that is the best outcome for peace, warring over Greenland would seem really not worth it to the other NATO Nations.
