It's end of the year and time for my annual health check. Twice a year I do the health check which covers all the routine blood tests, PFT Test, brain test and some others also basically it covers the full body parts. The half yearly one is a simpler one, that is only the routine blood test, but the annual one covers everything. It is a big expense but I believe that it is an important one. You need to take care of yourself and it's necessary to invest in yourself in your health check.

I have a in-house doctor, my Son who practices functional medicine. Me and my family we do not believe in to allopathy treatments, but at the same time we are not even able to avoid it completely. Specially with my hubby, who is a Myasthenia patient and has to be on a certain medication for life long. With all the medical history that runs in my family I ensure to take my own precautions as much as possible. With that I cannot say that I will be 100% safe, but prevention is always better then cure, so I try as much as possible from my side and then leave the rest to the Universe.

I strongly believe in the law of karma, the cause and effect, and what goes around does come around. If I am taking good care of myself, I will see good results of that. Still what is of the past can have implications in my future. Some of my friends tell me that I over-do things for my health, possibly they are right. I aim to be in good health all the times and what I feel is right to do I do it. In the last one year my supplement dosage has also increased since with my ageing there is a need for it.

This is one of the good Diagnostic center in the city, who are very economical and reliable. Their moto is to provide affordable medical solutions to people. I really like that. Medical expenses are very high, it can rip our pockets badly. I respect these institutions who genuinely think of the masses.

This place is simple and neat, the only challenge here is that since it's economical there is huge rush and good waiting time. So you have to have good amount of time at hand on your check up day.

They have come up with a new test for detecting Cancer through a blood test. This is a basic check test to know if there are any cancer cells developing in the body. I do not understand the exact science of it, my son explained to me that it does for the complete body and just not some parts. I have got it done and awaiting results now.

As I mentioned it's not a fancy thing, it's neat and clean and well functioning.

I completed my tests, they had to do it from both hands since there were many tests.

The center also has a home test facility, but this time I had to visit them since there were other tests also like the PFT and some MRIs which cannot be done at home.
Awaiting my results. It is like a big exam for me every time, eagerly waiting for my results.
