When I start thinking about all the blessings that I have in my life, the list becomes endless, and then I feel proud of myself that these blessings must be coming to me because of my own Karma, and then there are times when wrong things are happening and it also makes me think that I must have done wrong things also. But, in general each one of us in our day to day lives have so much to be grateful about. Today I want to talk about how I am grateful for all the different types of help that I have in my life, without which I will surely have hiccups to run my life the way I desire.

The biggest help that I have in my life are my helpers. The people who come and clean my home, take care of my home and cook food for me. Without all of these people I would become handicapped, not exactly, but I will surely slow down on many other fronts. Without them I would not be able to do things that I want, my work will suffer, because then I will be involved in all of these activities. I am able to do my things because of them. They do not work free but then how they work is also important. Not everyone works with honesty and care even with money. When my people are doing that, I really feel blessed that I have genuine people in my life assisting me to live my life.

When I see people mistreating their helpers then it really annoys me, because that's not the way anyone should be treated. Once, one of my helper had told me, that you are paying me so you can ask me to do anything. I do not think I would tell that to my employer, because even when some one hires me to do any job, there are boundaries. Be it a domestic job or a corporate job everyone deserves to work with respect and dignity and only do the work that they are supposed to. Hiring some one to work for you and then keep giving them additional work without additional remuneration is exploitation and taking advantage of the situation.

My helpers are like my family and I know that without them I will be left stranded on a lot of front in my day to day activities. Today I am feeling a little overwhelmed with this experience of life. Morning when my cook arrived, she made tea for me and served me as well. I was busy in my work and she asked me to take a break and have my tea first, after that she was preparing for the meals, I asked her to make soup for me, because I am not in a mood to eat anything, but she was worried for me that how will I last my day only on a soup, she kept insisting that she would prepare something more for me. In this moment I realized that so much care she has for me, and this is not about money, this is about the love that we have for one another. So it is a blessing and a big one for which I am always very grateful.

One thing I always understand is that if we treat people right then they will also reciprocate.
