The Healing Power of Sleep: How Rest Cured What Medicine Couldn't

One of my secret therapies for everything is just sleep. When I am depressed, I sleep; when I have headaches, I sleep; when I fail after thinking, I sleep. Sometimes, I am not willing to sleep at that moment, but that feeling of drowsiness just comes in. I release myself to it even though I am emotionally down or depressed, and this has really helped me in my journey. No medication and just consistent good sleep, and this has really helped in my mental health and made a difference in my life.
I know you might want to call me sleeping buddy, but this is how my body responds to things like this, especially the bad moments my mind keeps reflecting on. Personally, I believe healing often begins with listening to your body. This is why we must learn to understand ourselves and our body's response to things, which is just like my basic routine. I have understood myself that whennind9nt give in to sleep, it kind of affects me mentally and emotionally, most times it's just because the brain keeps on thinking about an experience or occurrences at that moment, even though it is not meant to at that time.
I have once been heavily sick of malaria and it was really painful back then, I had no money for medication and i was owing a lot of people on my street so i just sat inside my house and slept off as usual, I woke up midnight tried to work around the room with my weak body and still slept back again and when I woke up this time, i noticed it's been three days I am indoor sleeping and waking battling with that sickness, if it was someone else they would have passed away, I thank God I survived that moment even though it wasn't easy at that time. This is why I said sleep is how I respond to things around me, even sickness, especially when there is money or there is no money.
Sleep is one of the most underrated healing of the mind, although it's not like when we wake up we won't remember, but it will ease a lot of things at that moment, which can play a significant changes in changing us. Being a graduate, I often run away from a job that reduces my sleep time and makes me have less time to sleep because this can be a problem for me.
Sleep is my therapy with no medication, and it is easier for me because I fall asleep faster than usual, waking up more refreshed with a new mind to begin with. I try my best to sleep more often because this is my way to living a better life and this is how my body responds to my mind and thoughts.
