My cooking time πΉπππ : Mun Tod (Thai style deep fried sweet potato)πΈπΌ

Hello everyone, today I'm here to greet you all with Thai snacks Mun Tod (Mun=Potato, Tod = fired). Recently, I've been cooking a lot and most of the menus are Thai food or Thai snacks because I'm more familiar with them. This time, I wanted to eat fried potatoes, but not the kind of fried potatoes here. I wanted to eat Thai snack. I happened to find sweet potatoes at an Indian restaurant, so I bought some and got some coconuts. I thought of a menu and wanted to make it for people here because I think they would like this menu as well. The method is not difficult. Let's see what ingredients I need and how to make it.

Ingredients
- 500 grams of sweet potatoes
- 200 grams of crispy flour
- 100 grams of grated coconut
- 80 grams of sugar
- 80 ml of coconut milk
- 1 tbsp of vanilla baking powder
- 50 grams of white sesame seeds
- 200 ml of water
- Oil
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Method
- Peel the sweet potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Then cut into long pieces.
- Mix flour, sugar, coconut, coconut milk, white sesame seeds, baking powder with water, then add salt and mix everything together.
- Put the cut potatoes in the flour mixture and coat them all over the piece. Let them stick to the flour, then fry them in hot oil.
- Use medium heat to fry, not too high or too low. Notice that they start to turn yellow, then flip them over and fry until they are cooked and the flour will be crispy and delicious.
- When done, put them on paper towels or a sieve to drain the oil, then prepare to eat.
And this is how to make Thai-style fried potatoes. This menu is a very good snack and I made it for my family. They liked it very much because it was the first time and it was delicious. I recommend eating this menu while it is hot because it will make the flour crispy.
The taste of it is a little sweet with a fragrant coconut aroma. This is another recommended menu. If you want to try doing it, you can do it. I guarantee that you will like it for sure. And I hope everyone likes my cooking posts. Thank you for following. hope it is a good day.
