On the other, you’ve got regular Chicagoans and the police saying, “How about some actual safety, please?” 🚔

👉 Weakening the police force.

👉 Telling federal agencies, “Nah, we’re good.”

👉 Trading immediate safety for long-term “maybe it’ll work in 20 years” social programs.

👉 Cutting budgets for training, oversight, and manpower.
