So the professor earns $ 15 per hour. This is perfect! 😍😊
So how much does the MPs or ministers make there? What are their hourly or monthly salaries?

In the Philippines, there is a presidential republic government. The salary of a department secretary or senator in the country is only roughly $2,000 a month.

That is about 5 times that of a normal citizen.
8 times as much here. But there is another salary that is 29 times higher.

You don't get a lot of politicians here. Imagine having only a maximum of 24 senators for a population of more than 100,000,000 in the country, where each senator already represents more than 4,000,000 Filipinos.

In the Philippines (where @chrisrice lives), a college graduate with even a master's degree and work experience would still find it difficult to become a professor. He or she still needs to work it up by becoming an instructor or lecturer first.
