Cooking And Preparing Meals For 15 Visitors: Delicious Foods And Warm Hospitality
This Sunday, my brother asked me if I could spare my time helping him to cook and prepare meals for his visitors.
He's expecting 15 people to come.
Of course, as a supportive sister, I said yes.
It's 12 pm when we start cooking.
I was the one chopping vegetables.
My sister marinated the chicken meat, fried it till golden crisp, and coated it in yangnyeom sauce.
My dad prepares the tilapia fish. He stuffed it with tomatoes and onions, seasoned it with salt and pepper then grilled it.
My brother, on the other hand, cooked dinakdakan.
My mom, the master chef of our household, was in charge of cooking multiple pots and pans. She was filling the air with the savory aromas of tinolang manok and laing.
We worked together and transformed our dining area into a warm and inviting space.
As the night wore on, my brother's visitors started to arrive.
And so we greeted them with big smiles.
We then set the table, arranged the food we cooked, and invited them to take a seat at the table.
Throughout the night, we laughed, chatted, and enjoyed each other's company.
Savoring the delicious food and warm hospitality that our family was known for.
It was a truly special day. Plus, this moist and fluffy cake, mmmmm... perfect. 🤤
Until our next feast... Buh-bye. 👋🤤
