Indudablemente, en el mercado de las papas fritas, la mayoría de las personas que han probado las de Mc Donalds, aseguran que son las mejores entre todos los establecimientos de comida rápida. Pero esto no significa que no se puedan disfrutar las múltiples ofertas de este aperitivo o guarnición, sin quedar desencantado.

Conocí un local llamado By Papas, el cual aplicó el conocimiento del mercado de la competencia para llevar a cabo su propia idea, invirtiendo los papeles en cuanto a lo que ofrecen los demás. Es por eso que su plato principal, y la razón de ser de su negocio son las papas, y lo demás viene como opcional.

En el frente de su local tiene un par de mesas altas de color amarillo, para quienes deseen esperar su pedido o comer al aire libre. Por lo general, es en esos espacios donde veía a las personas comer sus papas, pero cuando entramos a hacer el pedido, notamos que en su interior había también un ambiente súper agradable.

Decorado en tono negro y un amarillo intenso, que junto con la iluminación en neón y las paredes en tonos grises, hacen de este espacio pequeño, un lugar con la impresión de ser más amplio. Adicional a las mesas y sillas de estos colores, un sofá del mismo tono de las paredes que se disponía de punta a punta en la pared del fondo, le daban un toque ameno, por lo que decidimos comer dentro.

Ese día, el local se encontraba bastante solitario cuando llegamos, así que por suerte pudimos sentarnos en la zona del sofá, ya para cuando nos marchamos del establecimiento, estaban empezando a llegar los clientes en demasía, así que fue mejor ir antes de la hora pico.

Tal cual les comenté, su plato principal son las papas fritas, y es lo que se ve a primera vista en su decoración y también entre las personas que frecuentan el espacio, sin embargo, han optado por acompañarlas de hamburguesas o perros calientes, sin que estos se conviertan en la imagen de su marca. Así lo demuestran inclusive en la presentación de su menú.

Y si de originalidad se trata, debo reconocer que han tomado las ideas exitosas de las demás franquicias de comida rápida, para adaptarlas a su negocio, teniendo los cubos de papas fritas, así como se venden los de pollo en KFC, por ejemplo.

Buena música y buena atención, comida rica, promociones accesibles y un decorado vibrante hacen de By Papas el lugar ideal para pasarla con amigos o en familia.

At the front of his place he has a couple of yellow high tables, for those who wish to wait for their order or eat outdoors. Usually, it is in those spaces where I saw people eating their fries, but when we went in to place our order, we noticed that inside there was also a super nice atmosphere.

Decorated in black and an intense yellow tone, which together with the neon lighting and the gray walls, make this small space, a place with the impression of being more spacious. In addition to the tables and chairs in these colors, a sofa in the same tone as the walls that was arranged end to end on the back wall, gave it a pleasant touch, so we decided to eat inside.

That day, the place was quite lonely when we arrived, so luckily we were able to sit on the sofa area, and by the time we left the establishment, customers were starting to arrive too many, so it was better to go before rush hour.

As I mentioned, their main dish is french fries, and that is what you see at first glance in their decoration and also among the people who frequent the space, however, they have chosen to accompany them with hamburgers or hot dogs, without these becoming the image of their brand. This is demonstrated even in the presentation of their menu.

And if we are talking about originality, I must admit that they have taken the successful ideas of other fast food franchises, to adapt them to their business, having buckets of french fries, just as the chicken ones are sold at KFC, for example.

Good music and good service, delicious food, affordable promotions and a vibrant decor make By Papas the ideal place to spend time with friends or family.
