This is a great idea. We don't have a cinema day that I'm aware of in Canada, but we do have film festivals in the major cities. Great to see appreciation for cinema is alive and well in Brazil.

Brazil has some regional movie festivals, but having a special date for cinema as an art (with a broader celebration) is something very important and inspiring.
